Iteca Exhibitions finalises the event results of spring season 2019

The leading exhibition company of Uzbekistan, Iteca Exhibitions, has held 11 exhibitions in Tashkent this spring. As many as 1,673 companies from 51 countries have participated in total. In general, over the entire period, 63,566 people visited the exhibition.

For 20 years, Iteca Exhibitions has been setting trends in the exhibition services market by implementing and fostering the latest trends. To answer a question what does it make the exhibitions be different from the previous ones, we can safely say that all events do meet the company`s slogan #MoreThanJustEvent. They characterized with high growth of exhibitions, participants and a number of countries represented, their main difference is that the exhibitions have moved beyond just demonstration sites. They have become a unique business venues with extensive opportunities for professional communication, where industry experts, decision-makers and international experts share their experience with well-known speakers during round tables, workshops and practical master-classes. Thousands of visitors of this spring season have noted that this has been a great step forward, and positive feedback proves successful outcomes of this combination.

For example, the 20th Anniversary Construction Exhibition - UzBuild 2019 was held on a grand scale and clearly reflected the current state of the construction sector, its main achievements and new developments. Its Business Program was presented as a global event at the international level. Both international conference and a series of workshops on architecture and interior design, were held with the participation of experts from Europe and the CIS, and attracted an impressive number of students from different regions of Uzbekistan. In general, the success of the exhibition exceeded all expectations. It was visited by 9,943 professional visitors, while the total number of visitors reached 12,510.

The 8th International Exhibition for Heating, Ventilation and Water Supply - Aquatherm Tashkent 2019 has expanded its Business Program this year. Technologies are being upgraded at an unprecedented pace, more and more smart and energy-efficient solutions enter the market. Leading experts of HVAC industry from the CIS shared practical solutions in the framework of the International Conference of ABOK Nonprofit Partnership on Engineers for Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, Heat Supply and Building Thermal Physics shared practical solutions with the participants. Such a synergy of practice and demonstration of new industry products gathered a unique audience represented by researchers, practitioners and key companies of the HVAC market.

The 14th International Agricultural Exhibition - AgroWorld Uzbekistan 2019 pick up the torch and provided within its Business Program not only presentations, but also a number of unique training seminars and workshops, which, according to industry experts, increased the value of the exhibition for visitors, including thousands of representatives farms and rural households. In particular, the training seminar on Modern Technologies of Export and Agricultural Production organized in collaboration with the Council of Farmers, Dehkan Farms and Owners of Household Lands of Uzbekistan, OSCE/AgroMart and FAO Uzbekistan, was rich in content, provided useful information and was highly appreciated by the audience. The event has had a great success for several reasons. First, foreign experts shared their expertise given particular climatic specifics of Uzbekistan; secondly, the training seminar was held on the eve of planting season that would help farmers and dehkan farms applying their fresh knowledge in practice.

For the second time in Uzbekistan the only specialized platform for meetings between food suppliers with buyers - the Retail Center was organized in the course of the 19th International Food Industry Exhibition - UzFood 2019. Many foreign and domestic exhibitors presented their products to large trade chains of Uzbekistan. Such a unique opportunity is provided within the framework of UzFood only. Moreover, the exhibition adopted a tradition of other international food exhibitions, where chefs cook at the equipped stands of the participants, share their experiences and secrets, and also conduct master-classes on cooking various dishes and culinary delicacies.

The key event for the Uzbek medical community - the 24th Tashkent International Healthcare Exhibition - TIHE 2019 presented a rich Business Program that included a conference and B2B meetings, and for the first time, a presentation of the Ministry of Health of Uzbekistan on: Potential of Medical Tourism in Uzbekistan.

The 23rd International Exhibition Oil and Gas of Uzbekistan 2019 and the 15th Anniversary International Exhibition for Energy, Energy Saving, Nuclear Energy, Alternative Energy Sources - Power Uzbekistan 2019 were the most ambitious and intensive in terms of various business events. This year, the International Power Conference joined OGU Conference under support of the Ministry of Energy of Uzbekistan. Their topics were so relevant and informative that gathered over 1,000 delegates from 32 countries. During the exhibitions, a number of documents were signed on cooperation between the Ministry of Energy, Uzbekneftegaz JSC, UzAtom Agency and heads of foreign delegations and companies.

Much attention was paid to young professionals and researchers of the oil and gas industry. Representatives of both national and regional oil and gas universities were invited to the Session of Young Scientists and interactive session of students from professional universities. Some reports of young specialists were highly appreciated by representatives of international companies who attended the session.

The spring season concluded with OGU 2019 and Power Uzbekistan 2019 projects and turned to be quite successful and even sensational in terms of its performance and results. The exhibitions have fully reflected both dynamics of development of particular sectors of the economy and attracted line ministries and departments, specialists and representatives of business circles from neighbouring and far abroad countries.

Another indicator of season productivity is that UzBuild, TIHE, and OGU projects have successfully passed an international exhibition audit, which once again confirmed a status of the events with high business image making positive impact on the national economy.


A series of autumn season exhibitions will come soon. They will traditionally be held in Tashkent and promise to be no less interesting.
