The 14th International Exhibition Mining, Metallurgy, and Metalworking – MiningMetals Uzbekistan 2019 will be held November 5 to 7, 2019, at the Uzexpocenter NEC, Tashkent. The organiser of the event is Iteca Exhibitions, the leader in organizing international exhibitions and conferences in Uzbekistan.

 MiningMetals Uzbekistan is the leading specialised exhibition in Uzbekistan to display the whole range of technologies and services for mining, metallurgical, machine-building, and metalworking industries; it is the event that is included in business calendars of managers, chief engineers, and chief metallurgists of leading industrial enterprises in Uzbekistan and Central Asia – those responsible for procurement of equipment and implementation of innovation technologies in the industry. The importance of the exhibition as the key industry event is evidenced by the extensive government support, meaningful participation of major foreign manufacturers, coverage of all sectors of the industry, and eventful business programme.

 For 14 years in a row, the exhibition has been successfully displaying cutting-edge technologies, equipment, and services used in the industry thus growing in popularity with the leading international and domestic mining and processing companies. This year, the exhibition sections have expanded, and the exhibition itself has changed its name from MiningWorld Uzbekistan to MiningMetals Uzbekistan thereby adding the related industries – metallurgy and mechanical engineering – to the mining section.

 Such expansion of the exhibition has had beneficial effects on its growth, as this year’s exposition allows for showing full cycle of development in mining, metallurgy, and machine-building industries. This exhibition appears in the format of a multifaceted industry event and has become an appropriate platform for innovations, equipment, and solutions for mining and heavy industries. As compared to 2018, the exhibition has expanded by 40% and occupied Pavilion 3 and the outdoor site, which area totalled to 3,000 sq. m.

 Around 100 companies from 16 countries including Australia, Republic of Belarus, China, Estonia, France, Germany, Iran, Italy, Kazakhstan, Republic of Korea, Latvia, Poland, Russia, Sweden, Turkey, Uzbekistan, will present their achievements at the exhibition.

 The exhibitors will present turnkey projects in the field of mining and mineral processing; metal cutting tools; high-alloy steel products and metalworking machines; pumps, mills, and milling plants, equipment and solutions for transportation of bulk materials and many more mining industry-relevant items.

 In terms of number of participants, the top three countries included China (29 companies), Russia (22 companies), and Germany (16 companies).

 The collective stand of the People’s Republic of China represented by 29 companies will showcase the full range of technologies and services both for mining and processing complex and for machine-building and metallurgical industries. The participation of companies from China was supported by the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT)

 ! It is a debut participation of Russia’s leading mining and metallurgical companies in MiningMetals Uzbekistan 2019, which allowed for their entering the market. They are Enerpred CJSC, the largest manufacturer of hydraulic tools in the Russian and CIS markets; Iztm Engineering OJSC that offers a range of technological solutions for implementation of projects in mining and processing, ferrous and non-ferrous metallurgy, and the related industries. All these and other companies represent the Irkutsk Region.

The Orenburg Region with its regional exposition is another debutant. The Region is represented by Drilling Equipment Plant, a leading Russian manufacturer of drilling tools and equipment for exploration and mining; Novotroitsk Non-Standard Processing Equipment Plant, a manufacturer of equipment, from machine-tools to automated production lines; Power Engineering Holding, the company engaged in manufacturing and supplying equipment and spare parts for mining, processing, chemical, and energy industries.

 For the National Stand of Germany represented by 16 companies, this year is the first participation in the exhibition; the companies will showcase their products marked ‘Made in Germany’. These companies’ participation is supported by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWi). It should be noted that BMWi decides on the official participation of German manufacturers in the events only held in those countries they consider prioritized for economic cooperation. Moreover, the group participation of German companies can only be seen at the exhibitions whose business reputation is highly respected by professionals. This is clearly illustrative of the positive changes in the mining industry of Uzbekistan and proves the high business status of MiningMetals Uzbekistan.

 The Exhibition debutants include Als Kazlab (Kazakhstan), one of the largest global companies in the industry of analytical geochemical services; Aimix Group (China), a manufacturer of concrete plants, concrete mixers, measuring machines, and concrete pumps; Bohnenkamp (Latvia), the largest supplier of tires, tubes, complete wheels in Europe; Hifi Filter Polska (Poland), the leading European supplier of mobile and industrial filters; Rouleaux Pack (France), the French market leader in design, manufacture, and sale of conveyor rollers; and other companies.

The Sponsor of the exhibition is Sever Minerals (Russia). The company is a provider of technological solutions for mining and processing, metallurgical complexes and chemical factories. It should be noted that the company has been scrupulous about its debut participation: at the company’s stand, they will present an architectural model of an ore preparation complex, a model of a Multotec spiral separator, and a complete hydrocyclone pumping unit. Moreover, the company trademark printed on the badges and ribbons will catch the eye of each visitor to the exhibition.

 A large part of product innovations will be showcased by the domestic dealers of the world`s leading producers, namely, Dizel Komplekt Bel Servis that specializes in maintenance service and repair of special-purpose equipment; Epiroc Mining And Construction Technique, a manufacturer of mining and hydraulic equipment for extraction of natural resources; Geoterekalmaz, a manufacturer of diamond tooling for exploration well drilling; Rudmash Export Service, a provider of maintenance and warranty services for motorized equipment and drilling rigs; and Vital Technology, the representative of the global machine tool industry leaders in Uzbekistan; and others.

 The exposition, unique by its thematic scope, will make it possible for industry experts and businessmen to familiarize themselves with the latest solutions, technologies, advanced equipment, and innovative systems in the field of metal processing, and to learn about technical features and advantages. Moreover, hundreds of manufacturers and customers will gather under one roof to see and understand what is produced, what groundwork has been laid, and what is in demand with consumers.

 The Uzbekistan International Mountain Forum - UIMF 2019 will be held in Tashkent on November 6, 2019, as part of the exhibition. The programme of the Forum includes the discussion of intensified implementation of exploration projects; the issues of unlocking the investment potential of the country`s mining industry, attracting technologies and adoption of global industry leaders’ best practices to achieve the fully integrated production, from exploration, ore extraction, beneficiation, and processing to manufacture of finished products. A particular session will be devoted to the advanced equipment and cutting-edge technologies for modernization of mining operations.
