In January–June 2026, production volume in the metallurgical industry of Uzbekistan amounted to almost 183 trillion. soums, increasing by 1.3% compared to the same period last year. This is reported by the National Statistics Committee.
The largest volume of production occurred in the Navoi region, where in the first six months of the year metallurgical products worth 120.7 trillion were produced. soums The Tashkent region is in second place with an indicator of 44.9 trillion. soums

In the Syrdarya region, production volume reached 621.4 billion soums, in the Jizzakh region - 262.6 billion soums, and in the Fergana region - 236.7 billion soums.

In the Republic of Karakalpakstan, production volume reached 67.8 billion soums. In the Andijan region, products worth 42.6 billion soums were produced, in the Khorezm region - for 26.8 billion soums.
The lowest figures among the represented regions were recorded in the Kashkadarya region - 16.6 billion soums.
Thus, the main volume of metallurgical production in January–June 2026 occurred in the Navoi and Tashkent regions, as well as the city of Tashkent.
At the same time, the total production volume in the country was 1.3% higher than the figure for the corresponding period in 2025.
