Metallurgy of Uzbekistan grew 2.1 times in January

In January 2026, Uzbekistan produced metallurgical products worth 29.2 trillion. soums, reports the National Statistics Committee.

Compared to the same period in 2025, the figure increased by 2.1 times, indicating significant growth in the industry.

The dynamics of development of the metallurgical industry in January of recent years shows a steady positive trend.

Thus, in 2020, the production volume was 4.8 billion soums, in 2021 - 6.8 billion soums, in 2022 - 7.7 billion soums, in 2023 - 8.1 billion soums, in 2024 - 10.4 billion soums, and in 2025 - 14.1 billion soums.

The sharp increase in 2026 indicates an acceleration in manufacturing activity and a strengthening role of the metallurgical industry in the country`s industrial structure.
