MININGMETALS UZBEKISTAN 2025 REAFFIRMS ITS STATUS AS AN INTERNATIONAL HUB FOR MINING AND METALLURGICAL INNOVATION

From 28 to 30 October 2025,
the Uzexpocentre National Exhibition Complex successfully hosted the 19th International Exhibition “Mining, Metallurgy, and Metalworking – MiningMetals Uzbekistan 2025”, continuing the exhibition season organised by Iteca Exhibitions in partnership with ICA Eurasia Group.

This year’s event brought together over 150 companies from 15 countries, including Canada, China, the Czech Republic, Germany, India, Iran, Kazakhstan, the Republic of Korea, Kyrgyz Republic, Latvia, Mongolia, Russia, Turkiye, the United Kingdom, and Uzbekistan. A total of 4,095 visitors attended the exhibition, reflecting the high level of interest and engagement within the sector.

The exhibition was divided into two main thematic sections: Mining and Metals & Mechanical Engineering. The Mining section presented state-of-the-art solutions, equipment, innovative technologies, and best practices in mineral exploration, extraction, and processing. Meanwhile, the Metals & Mechanical Engineering section showcased a wide range of advanced equipment and technologies for metallurgical enterprises.

Visitors also had the opportunity to explore major construction and mining equipment displayed in the outdoor exhibition area. For the first time, the event featured drilling and blasting equipment, as well as specialised machinery for the safe transportation of explosives.

Thanks to its broad thematic scope, the exhibition offered participants and visitors a comprehensive insight into the current state and development trends of the mining and metallurgical industry. The visitors were introduced to cutting-edge solutions for mineral extraction and processing and had the opportunity to discuss prospects for technological innovation and cooperation. The event also served as a meeting point for thousands of manufacturers and consumers to exchange experience, establish new business contacts, and evaluate the market potential of the sector.

The exhibition’s Silver Sponsor was Inco Engineering, the Czech company, a global leader in mining equipment — from shaft hoists to integrated systems for modern mines.

The Collective Stand of key governmental agencies and leading enterprises of Uzbekistan’s mining and metals sector drew considerable attention. Among them were the Ministry of Mining and Geology of Uzbekistan, Navoi and Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Companies, Uzbek Technological Metals Plant, Navoiyuran, and Uzmetkombinat.

As in previous years, the German National Pavilion, featuring 16 companies, took part in the exhibition, alongside the Collective Stand from the Nizhny Novgorod Region of the Russian Federation, and a broad representation from China. Mongolia, making its debut at the event, showcased specialised equipment for the safe transportation of explosives.

Traditionally, the Uzbekistan International Mining and Metals Forum (UIMF 2025) took place alongside the exhibition for the seventh consecutive year. Centred on the theme Mining Industry of the Future: Resources and Strategies, the Forum brought together 46 speakers and moderators, and over 500 delegates from 17 countries. The event united government officials, industry regulators, major producers, investors, financial institutions, and international experts. The Forum was organised by the International Company Congresses of Central Asia - CCA.

This year, the Forum was supported by Gold Sponsors: JSC Uzbek Technological Metals Plant (UzTMK) and Dassault Systèmes, along with Sponsor - DETRA, Innovation Partner - Datamine, and Partners - LabWare and Micromine.

Once again, MiningMetals Uzbekistan has confirmed its status as one of the leading exhibition events for the mining and metallurgical industries in Uzbekistan, serving as an effective platform for exploring state-of-the-art equipment and technologies. The exhibition continues to make a significant contribution to the development of the sector — driving the adoption of new technologies and innovations, and promoting improvements in environmental performance and energy efficiency across production processes. The event also provided an invaluable opportunity for the specialists in mining and metals, as well as the representatives of relevant ministries, departments, and specialised agencies, to engage in direct negotiations with manufacturers and suppliers, and to explore promising avenues for production modernisation.

The exhibition’s success is further reflected in the feedback of its participants:
“We have been participating in this exhibition for over a decade. For our joint-stock company, it is an important opportunity to meet new partners and sign mutually beneficial contracts. Here, we hold negotiations with foreign partners, renew existing contacts, and establish new ones. This year, we have gained many new partners and plan to develop cooperation with them. We look forward to participating in MiningMetals Uzbekistan again next year.”

— Dilmurot Ruziev, Manager, Navoi Mining and Metallurgical Company (NMMC), Uzbekistan
“We are participating in this exhibition because we are very interested in the Uzbek market. We see many points of synergy between the country’s industry and our capacities. Our impressions of the exhibition are extremely positive — it gets better year by year. We would be delighted to return.”

— Vadim Rosenstein, Board Chairman, Inco Engineering (the Czech Republic)
"We are proud to present our product portfolio and the full range of engineering services to the Uzbek market for the first time in the company’s history. The people here are very open and genuinely eager to engage with companies. After these past few days, I can confidently say that we will participate again next year."
