Uzbekistan`s mining industry reached 50.2 trillion soums
The volume of industrial production in Uzbekistan in January–July 2026 amounted to 795.4 trillion soums, of which 50.2 trillion soums came from mining and quarrying. This was reported by the National Committee on Statistics.
The largest volume of production was accounted for by manufacturing. Over seven months, enterprises in this sector produced goods worth 690.7 trillion soums, which corresponds to 86.8% of the total volume of industrial production.
Mining and quarrying accounted for 50.2 trillion soums, or 6.3% of the total volume.
Electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply provided 50.4 trillion soums of industrial production. The share of this sector was 6.4%.
Another 4.1 trillion soums, or 0.5% of the total volume, came from water supply, sewerage, waste collection and disposal.
