Korean Institute of Rare Metals (KIRAM) and Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Combine (AGMK) will create a joint scientific and technological center of rare metals and alloys.

AGMK and KIRAM signed an agreement on establishment of the center, which will include five laboratories in advanced areas of activity.

Cooperation should allow to raise the training and retraining of engineering personnel, young scientists to a new level, allow them to conduct their training and internship in the best scientific laboratories of South Korea.

The company’s specialists will begin to study and put into practice the achievements of Korean science. In particular, KIRAM will provide its developments for joint research, and AGMK will be able to adapt and use the best international practices in its work.
