In Yangiabad, the territory of the former uranium mine was cleaned.

Specialists completed work on the site of the old mine. Representatives of the Ministry of Ecology, the Ministry of Emergencies, the sanitary service and other departments visited the facility and evaluated the results.

What was done: they dismantled the old buildings, closed the mine and the adit, equipped the landfill for waste disposal, laid pipes for the removal of mine water, strengthened the shores and laid the protective layer in dangerous areas.
