The main part of metal products is produced by enterprises of Navoi (56.7 %) and Tashkent (36.2 %) regions, as well as Tashkent (5.6 %).

Uzbekistan`s metallurgical enterprises produced products worth 55.2 trillion soums in the first nine months of 2020, up 3.7% y/y, the press service of the State Statistics Committee said.

The volume of exports in January-September amounted to $859.4 million in monetary terms, and the share of the industry in the total export of the Republic – 6.9%.
