The Chairman of the State Committee for Geology and Mineral Resources submitted his report on the works to attract more foreign investors in the development of 20 new fields via online auctions.

President of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev was presented with the work carried out in the geology sphere. The head of state proposed to increase the scale of geological exploration next year, by identifying new feasible areas and utilizing modern technology.

“We are making up a new system in geology. The purpose is to provide natural resources to our people, create jobs and improve their welfare”, - said Shavkat Mirziyoyev.

The Chairman of the State Committee for Geology and Mineral Resources submitted his report on the works to attract more foreign investors in the development of 20 new fields via online auctions.

The Committee was empowered to conduct exploration of new places and work closely with the private sector in this field. It was stressed to found permanent geological expeditions in each region based on the Namangan experience. The tasks were given to improve the efficiency of use of the subsoil plots and to develop scientific research work on it. The participants were instructed to present a "road map" for the implementation of the planned measures.
