MiningMetals uzbekistan 2023-key exhibition event of the mining and metallurgical industry
The 17th MiningMetals Uzbekistan 2023 International Exhibition for Mining, Metallurgy, and Metalworking will be held from November 1 to 3 at the Uzexpocentre NEC, in Pavilions 1, 2, and Atrium Hall 1.

The mining industry of Uzbekistan is going through a period of dynamic development, setting ambitious goals for modernization and promoting investments. The country's leadership pays great attention to developing the sector, creating a favorable environment for the implementation of new technologies and innovations.
MiningMetals Uzbekistan is one of the leading exhibition events for the mining, metallurgical and engineering industries in the Central Asian region. It brings together mining sector experts from around the world to strengthen national and international partnerships.
Over the years of its operation, MiningMetals Uzbekistan has confirmed its significance and status as an influential industry event. It has gained a strong reputation as an effective business platform that supports the mining and metallurgical complex of Uzbekistan in addressing large-scale challenges and identifying development strategies.
Thanks to the participation of leading industry companies and new exhibitors, the exhibition creates unique opportunities for business interaction, knowledge exchange, and strengthening ties between the mining sector of Uzbekistan and international partners. Interest in the exhibition has been growing steadily over the years.
This year, the exhibition sets a new record with 164 companies from 25 countries, exceeding last year’s figures by 49%. Participants come from Australia, Austria, Azerbaijan, Republic of Belarus, Canada, China, Georgia, Germany, Great Britain, India, Iran, Ireland, Italy, Kazakhstan, Lithuania, New Zealand, Norway, Romania, Russia, Switzerland, Turkiye, UAE, Ukraine, the USA, and Uzbekistan. They will present products and technologies in the following areas: mineral processing, open-pit and underground mining, environment, IT technologies, metallurgy, mechanical engineering, machine tools, and more.
Domestic participants include leaders of the mining and metallurgy industries. Representatives of the Navoi Mining and Metallurgical Plant will talk about exploration of reserves, ore mining and processing, and production of finished products. Also participating is the Akhangaran Pipe Metallurgical Plant – a metallurgical enterprise producing import-substituting rolled metal, and the Uzbekhimmash Plant – a manufacturer of pressure vessels and equipment for chemical, petrochemical, gas processing, and other industries.
Other domestic companies – dealers and distributors of foreign manufacturers – include Mining and Construction Solutions, Promprivod, Topfin Result, Vital Technology, Rudmash Export Service, Texnostroy, Infra Del Projects, Billur Quartz, Korean Innovative Technologies, and many others.
Foreign participants include well-known companies such as Micromine, Orica, Metso, Sandvik, Weir Minerals, Seequent, CMS Cepcor, Thrane & Thrane, Christian Pfeiffer, CFT, Solid Drilling Solutions, Intertech Process Technology, Soligorsk Institute of Energy Saving Problems, L.D.M Officina Meccanica, Alpha Safety, and others.
The exhibitors will present machinery, equipment and technologies for mining production, mining and processing plants, mine safety solutions, software, equipment and services for metalworking and metallurgy, and more.
Top 5 countries of foreign participants: China, Germany, Iran, Kazakhstan, Russia.
Traditionally, the National Pavilion of Germany will be presented, where 18 leading German companies will showcase high-quality equipment for the mining and metallurgical industries and the latest technologies in metalworking.
For the second time, the collective stand of Iran will be present, hosting leading manufacturers in the fields of rolled steel, cement, and steel production.
The collective stands of the Kurgan and Nizhny Novgorod regions of the Russian Federation will feature equipment and technologies for mining, processing plants, and metalworking.
More than 40 Chinese participants will present their latest developments, technologies, and equipment for the mining and metals sector.
At least one-third of foreign participants will present their stands for the first time, demonstrating the growing interest of foreign companies in the Uzbek market.
The key event of the business programme will be the 5th Anniversary Uzbekistan International Mining & Metals Forum – UIMF 2023, a unique platform for dialogue and experience exchange among leading experts, business representatives, key industry companies, financial institutions, government agencies, and specialists. This year’s theme: Prospects for the development of international, regional, and domestic mining and metallurgical sectors. New challenges – new strategies. (November 1–2, International Hotel Tashkent).
Participation in the exhibition provides opportunities to establish mutually beneficial cooperation with new investors and partners, and to exchange experiences with colleagues from other countries.
