MiningMetals Uzbekistan 2022 – The Flagship of the Mining Industry
The flagship of the exposition is the 16th International Exhibition "Mining, Metallurgy and Metalworking - MiningMetals Uzbekistan," a specialized national event showcasing a wide range of technologies and services for the mining, metallurgical, and engineering industries.
At this year's MiningMetals Uzbekistan, manufacturers and suppliers of equipment for the extraction, enrichment, and transportation of minerals, as well as experts from mining enterprises and processing plants from various regions of Uzbekistan and abroad, will meet to establish personal contacts, discuss key industry issues, and sign agreements.
It is noteworthy that the number of exhibitors has increased by 35% compared to 2021. 24 exhibitors (22% of the total) are participating for the first time. This demonstrates the growing interest in the exhibition among equipment and technology manufacturers and suppliers, and attracts the attention of potential investors and partners.
The mining industry is one of the key sectors of Uzbekistan's economy. The state is focusing on developing the industry by modernizing production facilities, introducing modern technologies, and fostering innovation, all of which are important factors for increasing the country's industrial potential.
Uzbekistan is traditionally in the top 10 countries in the world for gold, uranium, and gas production. According to the World Gold Council, in November 2021, Uzbekistan became the world leader in gold sales.
Almalyk MMC and Navoi MMC - the largest mining enterprises and pride of Uzbekistan - are participating as exhibitors for the first time. They will fully showcase their production capacities and discuss the complete production cycle, from geological exploration of deposits and processing to the final product.
Among the local debutants, Uzmetkombinat JSC, a leading manufacturer of rolled metal products, is also worth mentioning.
